Not Afraid: Art Against Racism Exhibition at WWA
Juried exhibition exploring intersection of identity and culture. Open to artists 16+. Submit up to 3 original works by Dec 9. $5 entry fee per work.
West Windsor Arts and Art Against Racism, both 501(c)(3) organizations, are calling for submissions to 'Not Afraid,' a juried exhibition that empowers artists to explore the intersection of identity and culture through their artwork. This exhibition provides a platform for artists to address racism and social justice issues through creative expression. The opportunity is open to all artists who are 16 years of age and older, making it accessible to both emerging and established artists. All submitted artwork must be original and new to West Windsor Arts, ensuring fresh perspectives and previously unseen works. Artists can submit up to three pieces, allowing for multiple expressions of their artistic vision on these important themes. There is a modest entry fee of $5 per artwork submitted. This exhibition represents a collaborative effort between two nonprofit organizations committed to promoting art as a vehicle for social change and cultural dialogue. The juried format ensures professional curation and quality selection of works that effectively address the exhibition's themes of identity, culture, and resistance to racism.
