OC Dia del Niño Festival Artist Call 2026
Media Arts Santa Ana seeks artists, performers, and resource booths for the 2026 OC Dia del Niño Festival, a free family event celebrating children.
Media Arts Santa Ana (MASA) is calling for submissions from artists, performers, and community organizations to participate in the 2026 OC Dia del Niño Festival. This is a paid opportunity for workshop artists and performers, with no fee required for resource booths.
The OC Día del Niño/Day of the Child Festival is a featured event of Arts Orange County's annual Imagination Celebration, a month-long countywide festival celebrating arts for families and children. The free family festival will take place on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at the Hunt Library & Event Center in Fullerton.
The festival features live music, dance, engaging hands-on art activities, community resource booths, and food trucks. Performances and workshops are provided by professional artists, local arts organizations, schools, and community groups. The event showcases more than 25 interactive youth arts workshops in various disciplines including painting, music, dance, circus arts, clay, mask making, textiles, and piñata making.
Desired youth arts workshop categories include visual arts, music, dance, mask making, jewelry making, papier mâché, printing, clay work, puppetry, poetry, paper art, anime, kite making, textiles, traditional arts, theatre, and movement. MASA welcomes applications from individual artists and organizations offering workshops, performances, or community resource booths.
Dia del Niño is a traditional family holiday celebrated in Mexico in April that honors children, celebrates their importance in society, and promotes their well-being. The OC festival extends this celebration to serve the broader Orange County community.
This is an excellent opportunity for artists and performers to showcase their work, engage with families, and contribute to a culturally significant community celebration.
