Ore + Earth Studios: Gallery & Workshop Space
New year-round gallery and creative workspace on Shelter Island featuring curated exhibitions and member-based art classes for East End artists.
Ore + Earth Studios, a newly opened year-round gallery and creative workspace located on Shelter Island, is now accepting artists and community members for exhibitions, classes, and studio memberships. Founded by artists Liliandra Jean Vivolo and Pauline Goss Fink, the space is dedicated to fostering creativity and showcasing work from artists across the East End, including Shelter Island, the North Fork, and the South Fork.
The studio operates as a dual-purpose space combining a curated gallery with a member-based workshop and community studio. The gallery features diverse artistic mediums including fine jewelry, ceramics, and painting from regional artists. The studio portion offers small-group art classes that emphasize creativity and meaningful connection among participants, with sessions limited to eight participants to ensure personalized instruction and community building.
Upcoming workshops scheduled for November include 'Mindful Mandalas' on November 9 and 'Fall Felting: Harvest Veggies' on November 22. Both sessions accommodate up to eight participants each. The facility is designed to serve as both a showcase for finished artwork and an active creative workspace where artists and art enthusiasts can develop new skills, collaborate, and connect with others in the artistic community.
The space welcomes artists interested in exhibiting their work, participating in classes, or becoming members of the studio community. Interested artists should visit the website for complete workshop schedules, membership information, and exhibition opportunities.
