Our Coast Magazine Reader Views Submission

Submit art and writing for Our Coast Magazine's 15th edition. Theme: community resilience. Deadline extended to January 5, 2026.

Our Coast Magazine, published by The Astorian and Chinook Observer, is accepting submissions for its 15th edition releasing in spring 2026. This is an opportunity for artists and writers from Clatsop, Tillamook, Pacific, and Wahkiakum counties to have their work published in a section called "Reader Views."

The magazine is seeking entries that reflect the issue's theme of community resilience. Submissions can be written work (poetry or prose up to 400 words) or two-dimensional art (drawing, painting, collage, or mixed media). All art submissions must be sent as high-resolution files of at least 1MB in size.

Important restrictions: The magazine is not accepting photography, digital art, or works created using generative AI for the Reader Views section. Artists and writers may submit up to three entries each.

Our Coast Magazine is an annual publication about life in the Columbia-Pacific region, with a 15-year history of showcasing regional voices and perspectives. This is a legitimate publishing opportunity for emerging and established artists and writers in the coastal Oregon and Washington region.
