Out of the H2O Art Exhibition Call
Rome Art Center seeks artwork exploring water's fluidity, power, and symbolism through multiple media for salon-style group exhibition.
The Rome Art and Community Center, located at 308 West Bloomfield Street in Rome, New York, is issuing an open call for artists to participate in their upcoming exhibition entitled "Out of the H2O." This is a free, open-call, non-juried, salon-style group art exhibition that explores the fluidity, power, and symbolism of water in its many forms.
The exhibition welcomes artwork across multiple disciplines, including painting, sculpture, photography, and mixed media. Through these diverse artistic approaches, the exhibition aims to immerse viewers in the shifting relationships between humanity and water as an essential element.
According to RACC Executive Director Jason Tockey, "It is always so exciting to see what amazing things our local artists are capable of. Whether it is a painting, photograph, or sculpture, I can't wait to see how water comes to life in this exhibit."
This is an excellent opportunity for local and regional artists to showcase their work in a professional gallery setting. The non-juried format means all qualifying submissions will be accepted, making it an inclusive opportunity for artists of all experience levels. The salon-style presentation allows for a diverse range of artistic interpretations of the water theme.
The exhibition welcomes submissions from artists working in any medium as long as the work relates to the theme of water and its significance. This could include abstract interpretations, realistic representations, conceptual pieces, or any artistic exploration of water's role in nature, human life, and culture.
