Phillips' Mill 97th Annual Signature Image Call

Phillips' Mill Community Association invites artists to participate in creating the signature image for the 97th Annual Juried Art Show, which will be held in the fall. The signature image serves as an artistic representation of the historic Mill and will be featured on all marketing and advertising materials including postcards, advertisements, invitations, social media, banners, lawn signs, and the Phillips' Mill website.
The winning artist will receive a $500 honorarium and their work will be automatically included in the juried art show. Winners will also receive promotion through press releases, social media features, inclusion in The Grist (the Mill's newsletter), and prominent placement on the Phillips' Mill website.
Artists are encouraged to explore their creative vision of the Mill, whether depicting the interior, exterior, or surrounding landscape. Previous years' signature images have included both whimsical and traditional interpretations. All mediums are welcome except photography, including collages, watercolors, oils, and acrylics.
Eligibility requirements include: artists must live within a 25-mile radius of Phillips' Mill, may submit only one entry, and all work must be for sale. There is no submission fee. Artists may also submit additional entries to the juried art show following the guidelines outlined in the show's prospectus.
