Public Art Submissions for Ketchum Main Street

Design vinyl wraps for utility boxes and gondola bus shelter in Ketchum, Idaho. $1,000 per selected design.

The city of Ketchum is seeking artist submissions for two public art projects involving vinyl wraps. The first project involves designing wraps for six new utility boxes located along Main Street between East First and East Fifth streets. The second project is for a permanent vinyl wrap of the new gondola bus shelter at Fourth Street on Main Street in downtown Ketchum. Artists may submit up to six designs for the utility boxes and will receive $1,000 for each design selected. For the gondola bus shelter wrap, the selected design will be displayed for 10 years, and the artist will receive $1,000. Artists from any geographic location are invited to submit, though Idaho artists are strongly encouraged to apply. The Ketchum Arts Commission will review all proposals and make recommendations to the Ketchum City Council for final approval. Selected artwork is scheduled to be installed by early April 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for artists to have their work displayed in a prominent public location and contribute to the beautification of downtown Ketchum.
