Safford City-Graham County Library Mural Project
Arizona artists sought to create mural on library exterior north wall. Compensation available. Local artists preferred.
The Safford City-Graham County Library is seeking an Arizona artist or team of artists to create a mural on the exterior north wall of the library located at 808 S 7th Ave, Safford, Arizona. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant artistic contribution to the community while earning compensation for your work.
The mural will be prominently positioned to face 8th Street and will be visible from the busy intersection of 8th Street and 8th Avenue, making it a high-visibility public art installation. This project aims to turn the library into an artistic landmark while highlighting the important role the library plays as a community hub for learning and engagement.
Artists are invited to submit proposals that reflect the role of the library in the community, celebrate books and knowledge, and foster community pride. The library welcomes diverse artistic visions that will resonate with residents and visitors alike.
Preference will be given to local artists, making this an excellent opportunity for Gila Valley-based creative professionals. Whether you work as an individual artist or as part of a collaborative team, you are encouraged to apply.
This mural project represents a meaningful way to contribute to public art in Arizona while being compensated for your creative talent and labor. The selected artist(s) will have the opportunity to create a lasting work of art that will be enjoyed by the community for years to come.
