SCAL & SCCF 'SKY' Art Exhibition at Bailey Homestead

Environmental art exhibition celebrating skies and coastal ecosystems, open to SCAL and SCCF members. All works must be available for sale.

The Sanibel-Captiva Conservation Foundation (SCCF) and Sanibel-Captiva Art League (SCAL) are collaborating to present 'SKY,' an environmental art exhibition running from November 12 through December 5 at the Bailey Homestead, located at 1300 Periwinkle Way, Sanibel. This unique exhibition seeks fresh works of art that align with SCCF's mission to protect and care for Southwest Florida's coastal ecosystems while celebrating the skies and their contribution to the environment. The opportunity is exclusively open to current members of SCAL and SCCF. Artists may submit up to three original pieces for consideration. All artwork must be available for sale, as a portion of all sales will directly support SCCF's conservation mission. This creates an opportunity for artists to contribute meaningfully to environmental protection while showcasing their work. The exhibition provides a platform for artists to explore themes related to sky, atmosphere, and environmental stewardship through their artistic practice. Works should demonstrate a connection to the natural world and the important role that skies play in coastal ecosystems. This collaboration between an art league and conservation foundation offers artists a unique venue to display environmentally-conscious artwork while supporting a meaningful cause.
