Sining Filipina 2026 Art Competition

National all-women art competition inviting Filipina artists to submit original works by January 25, 2026, with theme celebrating women leading change.

Sining Filipina 2026 is an all-women art competition that celebrates Filipino creativity and elevates women's voices in the visual arts. Entering its third year, this pioneering nationwide initiative continues its mission to spotlight the unique talent, perspectives, and artistic narratives of women across the Philippines.

The 2026 edition features the theme "Babae para sa bayan: Women leading change from home to nation," which invites Filipina artists to reflect on women's roles in driving social change at community and national levels. The competition welcomes original works across a wide range of media, styles, and creative expressions from both emerging and established women artists.

Sining Filipina was established in 2024 as a dedicated national platform for women in the visual arts. In just three years, it has grown into a recognized annual initiative that celebrates artistic diversity while uplifting the stories and perspectives of Filipinas. The program aims to build momentum and encourage even more involvement from women artists nationwide.

The 2026 edition is presented by BDO and SM Supermalls for the benefit of the Zonta Club of Makati and Environs Foundation Inc, with support from Fersal Hotel, HWRU, and Airspeed. This sustained partnership reinforces SM Supermalls' longstanding advocacy for women and support for local creative talent. The competition continues to expand visibility for women artists, underscoring how art can empower communities and inspire positive social impact.
