Squamish Arts Anonymous Art Show 2025
Create artwork on cedar rounds for an anonymous art show fundraiser. All skill levels welcome. Works sell for $100, artists keep $50.
Squamish Arts invites artists of all levels to participate in their 2025 Anonymous Art Show, a unique fundraising exhibition opening November 4 at the Brackendale Art Gallery. This annual event features artwork created on special cedar rounds, with each piece sold anonymously until after purchase, creating an intriguing mystery for buyers and equal opportunity for all artists regardless of experience level. Each artwork sells for $100, with $50 going directly to the artist and $50 supporting Squamish Arts programs including Amped in the Park, Squamish Arts Festival, Youth Mural Camps, ArtWalk, and Art School. Artists can purchase cedar rounds for $10 at various local events throughout September and early October. The exhibition runs from November 4 to December 2, with an opening reception and sneak peek on November 4 from 7-9 PM. Participants receive benefits including a complimentary one-year Squamish Arts membership, $50 from their artwork sale, and promotion through the online gallery. This opportunity provides emerging and professional artists alike a platform to showcase their work while contributing to the local arts community.
