The 24-Hour Show at The Arts Mill

The Arts Mill in Grafton is hosting its annual 24-Hour Show, a unique timed art-making event that challenges artists to create an original work of art within a 24-hour period. This dynamic event celebrates spontaneity, creativity, and artistic expression across all disciplines, offering artists an opportunity to work within a shared time frame and exhibit their finished pieces in a professional gallery setting.
Participating artists will purchase and pick up a blank canvas from The Arts Mill on February 7 between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m., complete their artwork within 24 hours, and return the finished piece by the designated deadline on February 8 between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. Completed works will be displayed as part of The 24-Hour Show exhibition and silent auction, culminating in an opening reception on February 13 that celebrates the artists and their creative process.
The Arts Mill is a creative co-op located at 1300 14th Ave. in Grafton that features more than 20 artisans with onsite studios and a boutique showcasing locally made art and goods. It fosters creativity, collaboration, and community by providing working artists a shared space to create, exhibit, and connect with the public. This event is an excellent opportunity for artists of all levels to challenge themselves, gain exhibition experience, and connect with the local art community.
