Two Open Calls for Artist Residencies in Namur
KIKK platform announces two artist residencies in Namur, Belgium focusing on digital art, science, and technology for 2026.
KIKK, a platform dedicated to digital art and technology, in collaboration with partners from Namur, Belgium, has announced two open calls for artistic residencies in 2026. These residencies are designed for artists working at the intersection of digital art, science, and technology, with a focus on new media practices.
The first residency, titled KIKK x CCN, takes place from 27 April to 22 May 2026. This residency is dedicated to interdisciplinary research in the fields of art, science, technology, and society. The application deadline for this residency is 15 February 2026.
The second residency runs from 27 May to 24 June 2026 and invites artists to explore astronomy and the cosmos through contemporary artistic and technological approaches. The application deadline for this opportunity is 1 March 2026.
For each residency, one international artist and one artist from Wallonia will be selected. Projects in the fields of music, theatre, and dance will not be considered, as the calls are specifically focused on new media and digital art practices.
