Waves of Care Community Fair

Community fair offering mental health resources, wellness support, housing assistance, and more for Norfolk residents in need.

The Norfolk Prevention Coalition, Norfolk Community Services Board, Norfolk Youth Council, and Norfolk Public Library are hosting the inaugural Waves of Care Community Fair on Saturday, March 28, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Mary D. Pretlow Anchor Branch Library located at 111 W. Ocean View Ave in Norfolk, VA.

This community event brings together local service providers to offer comprehensive resources and support including mental health and wellness services, opioid education programs, housing and health care assistance, employment support opportunities, food access, financial help, and personal care items.

While the fair is open to all Norfolk residents, it is specifically designed to support individuals and families who are experiencing or at risk of homelessness, crisis situations, or hardship. The event is completely free and open to the public, making vital resources accessible to those who need them most.

The Waves of Care Community Fair represents a collaborative effort among multiple city organizations to address critical community needs and connect residents with essential services all in one convenient location. Attendees will have the opportunity to interact with various service providers and learn about available resources that can help improve their situation.
