Wellington Art Society February Members Meeting

Free community event featuring speaker Paul Fisher, founder of Juried Art Services, with artist spotlight and refreshments.

The Wellington Art Society is hosting their February Members Meeting on February 10th from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm at the Wellington Community Center. This free event features Paul Fisher, Founder and CEO of Juried Art Services, as the keynote speaker.

Paul Fisher is a renowned figure in the art world, managing call to artists, applications, jurying, and notification processes for prestigious institutions including the Smithsonian, Disney, Philadelphia Museum, Oil Painters of America, and Harvard through his patented technology platform.

Beyond his professional achievements, Fisher is deeply committed to wildlife conservation and environmental causes, serving on advisory boards for the Gorilla Foundation, Arthur Marshall Foundation for the Everglades, Rare Species Conservancy Foundation, and Macaw Recovery Network. He has also contributed to cultural affairs in South Florida as a Mayoral Appointee on the Cultural Affairs Commission in West Palm Beach and voting member of the Public Art Commission for Palm Beach County.

Fisher is also an accomplished martial artist, founder of the Palm Beach Bujinkan Dojo where he has served as chief instructor since 1990, and a dedicated yoga practitioner and vegetarian. His wife, Irina, is a successful artist specializing in hand-painted silk garments and paintings.

The Wellington Art Society, now in its 43rd year, is a non-profit charitable organization open to artists of all mediums and patrons of the arts, facilitating opportunities for both local and regional artists to display their work, network with peers, and contribute to the community through art.
