The West Seattle Art Tour is accepting applications for its third annual event, scheduled for September 19–20, 2026. This is a two-day, self-guided event that connects local artists directly with collectors and art enthusiasts throughout the West Seattle neighborhood.
The tour operates through a juried selection process where artists are chosen to display their work at host sites—selected artists' homes and studios that can accommodate multiple artists. Visitors navigate the tour using printed maps, interactive digital maps, and social media platforms.
The committee welcomes diverse submissions from artists working in various mediums including painting, sculpture, ceramics, photography, jewelry, mixed media, and other artistic disciplines. Applicants should demonstrate a unique vision and technical mastery in their work.
Eligibility Requirements:
Artists must live, work, or teach in West Seattle, or demonstrate an ongoing connection to the community. The organization seeks to foster and promote the local arts community through this volunteer-run event.
The West Seattle Art Tour is entirely run by volunteer artists who dedicate their time to supporting and promoting local artists. This is an excellent opportunity for artists to gain exposure, connect with collectors, and be part of a community-focused art initiative.
