Wilson College ArtsFest 2026 - Call for Artists

Multi-day arts festival seeking visual, performing, and literary artists to participate in experimentation-themed celebration April 6-10, 2026.

Wilson College's ArtsFest Committee is accepting proposals for ArtsFest 2026, a dynamic five-day celebration of creativity scheduled for Monday, April 6 through Friday, April 10, 2026. This signature event for Franklin County has evolved from Wilson College's traditional Arts Day and has grown significantly since its reimagining in 2023, now including international artists and interdisciplinary programming. The 2026 festival will explore the theme 'ART IS... EXPERIMENTATION' and seeks visual, performing, and literary artists, as well as arts educators from Chambersburg and neighboring areas. Participants can propose various formats including presentations, readings, performances, workshops, exhibitions, immersive experiences, or other arts-based activities. The festival aims to showcase exceptional art, foster meaningful connections, and inspire positive change through the arts. While proposals should be financially self-supported, limited funding may be available on a case-by-case basis. The committee welcomes all creative ideas and offers assistance in developing concepts, making this an inclusive opportunity for artists to share their work, expertise, and creative vision with the Wilson College campus and broader community.
