Windows On First - Artist Window Installation
Las Vegas City Hall seeks artists 18+ for site-specific window installations on First Street. $4,000 budget, 6-month exhibition.
Las Vegas City Hall is inviting artists to participate in the "Windows On First" program, an exciting opportunity to create original, site-specific installations presented within the context of the First Street Art Trail. This program provides a platform for emerging and established artists to showcase their work in a prominent public location.
The installation will occupy three display windows on the east side of Las Vegas City Hall, located at 495 South Main Street, directly facing First Street. The project offers a $4,000 budget for the selected artist(s) to realize their vision.
Artists aged 18 and older are encouraged to submit proposals for consideration. The selected installation will be exhibited for six months, beginning in April. This is an excellent opportunity for artists looking to gain visibility and engage with the Las Vegas community through public art.
The program seeks artists who can conceptualize and execute original work that is responsive to the specific site and context of First Street. Previous "Windows On First" installations can be viewed for reference and inspiration.
