Youth Art Month Exhibition at Second Story Gallery
Second Story Gallery at Camas Public Library invites young artists in K-5th grade to submit artwork for a March exhibition celebrating Youth Art Month.
Second Story Gallery, located upstairs at the Camas Public Library at 625 N.E. Fourth Ave., Camas, is calling for submissions from young artists to participate in a special exhibition during Youth Art Month in March 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for children in kindergarten through fifth grade to showcase their artistic talents in a professional gallery setting.
Submission Process:
Young artists should bring one or two pieces of artwork to the Camas Public Library during February 2026. Upon arrival, children will complete a submission label for their artwork. There is no fee to submit art, making this an accessible opportunity for all interested young artists regardless of financial circumstances.
Exhibition Details:
The selected artwork will be displayed in the Second Story Gallery throughout March 2026. This provides significant visibility for young artists' work in the community.
Event Opportunities:
Participating young artists are invited to attend the opening reception scheduled for 5 to 8 p.m. on March 6 at the gallery. Additionally, artists will have the opportunity to speak about their work at the Student Art Talk event, held from 3:30 to 4:45 p.m. on March 18. These events provide valuable experience in presenting and discussing artwork, which can build confidence and communication skills.
