Allison Robinson, Ph.D., is Associate Curator of History Exhibitions at the New-York Historical, where she co-curated exhibitions including Crafting Freedom on the free Black potter Thomas W. Commeraw, Women's Work, and Running for Civil Rights. She received her doctorate in History from the University of Chicago and served as lead curator of the institution's Gay Harlem Renaissance exhibition.
