Bennett Simpson

Bennett Simpson is Senior Curator at the Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles, where he has organized exhibitions at the Geffen Contemporary. His projects include Blues for Smoke, developed with artist Glenn Ligon, and Monuments, co-curated with Hamza Walker and Kara Walker, which featured commissioned work by Stan Douglas and works by Leonardo Drew. He focuses on contemporary art across painting, sculpture, and media.
