Emily A. Beeny

Emily A. Beeny is the Chief Curator of the Legion of Honor and the Barbara A. Wolfe Curator in Charge of European Paintings at the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco. A specialist in French paintings and drawings of the 17th through 19th centuries with a PhD from Columbia University, she previously served as Associate Curator of Drawings at the J. Paul Getty Museum. She organized the Legion of Honor's 2025 exhibition Manet and Morisot.
