Janet Bishop

Janet Bishop is the Thomas Weisel Family Chief Curator at SFMOMA, where she has worked for more than thirty years. She has served as lead or co-curator for numerous exhibitions including Matisse/Diebenkorn and The Steins Collect: Matisse, Picasso, and the Parisian Avant-Garde. She organized SFMOMA's exhibition Matisse's Femme au chapeau: A Modern Scandal.
