Lakeem Wilson

Lakeem Wilson is a Dallas-based artist and curator who serves as Associate Curator at the African American Museum, Dallas. Raised in South Dallas, his curatorial projects there include Sunday Call to Church: The Art of Clementine Hunter and an interactive exhibition linking the legacies of Nelson Mandela and Martin Luther King Jr. He is also the cofounder of Sky Blue Gallery and the creator of Life in Black Ink, a body of large-scale ink drawings documenting Black life.
