A Celebration of Trees: Artist Reception

The Jamestown Arts Center hosts a free artist reception for A Celebration of Trees, a multimedia group exhibition exploring humanity's enduring relationship with trees. Curated by Laurie Dolphin, the show brings together 21 artists from Southern New England and around the world, including Kiki Smith, Bread & Puppet, Beth Moon, Joan Hall and Hans van de Bovenkamp, working in painting, sculpture, photography, film and mixed media. The evening features several exhibiting artists and a live oud performance by Fausto Palma. The exhibition is on view June 26 through August 29.
