Artist Reception: Alice meets Remarkably Bright Creatures

The Niza Knoll Gallery in Denver hosts an artist reception on Friday, June 19 from 5 to 8 p.m. for 'Alice meets Remarkably Bright Creatures,' a book club art exhibition. The show is a mash-up of Lewis Carroll's 'Alice's Adventures in Wonderland' and Shelby Van Pelt's 'Remarkably Bright Creatures,' interpreted through visual art by members of gallerist Niza Knoll's book club. Participating artists are Aliki McCain, Niza Knoll, Sally Lewis, Pat Lickly, Kristi Melodia, Ellen Reynolds and Georgianne Rollman, working across painting, ceramic sculpture, collage, fabric and mixed media. The exhibition runs June 5 to July 12.
