Artist Reception: Jesi Cason, Alt Tampa

An artist reception for 'Alt Tampa,' a new exhibition by Jesi Cason at the Florida Museum of Photographic Arts. Presented in collaboration with St. Petersburg Month of Photography, the show features the work of Cason, SPMOP's 2025 Photo Laureate. 'Alt Tampa' shifts focus away from the familiar image of Tampa Bay and toward the communities that have long existed just outside the spotlight, documenting individuals connected to the region's alternative scenes shaped by music, style, and self-expression. The exhibition runs April 29 through June 14. An artist talk with Cason follows on Sunday, May 31, from 1 to 2 p.m.
