Artist Reception: Lina Morielli, Selected Works

The Mayor's Gallery at Stamford's Government Center hosts an artist's reception for Lina Morielli, who was the gallery's curator for 15 years and staged more than 90 exhibitions with over 100 artists and arts organizations before stepping down in 2021. The show 'Lina Morielli: Selected Works' is on view through June 26. The artwork, created during the early days of the pandemic, delves into the subconscious, exploring fragments of memory, the shadows of trauma, and the fluidity of time. Over more than fifty years, her choice of materials and forms has transformed, mirroring changing realms of thought, emotion, and history.
