Big Gay Art Show Opening Reception

Sedona Arts Center presents the Big Gay Art Show, an annual juried exhibition on view June 5 through 28, opening with an artist reception on Friday, June 5, from 4 to 6 pm in conjunction with Celebrate Sedona. The afternoon includes artist demonstrations by the ceramics department, plus food, wine, beer, and music by Liv Light. Both the reception and Celebrate Sedona are free and open to the public, with complimentary parking behind the Art Barn. The show features painting, photography, sculpture, and mixed media by 50 emerging and professional artists from LGBTQIA+ communities and supportive allies. First conceived in 2012 by a small group of artists connected to the Center and Sedona Pride, the exhibition has grown into a beloved annual event.
