Freedom: Meet-the-Artist Reception

The West Plains Council on the Arts hosts a Meet-the-Artist reception for Freedom, a multimedia exhibition marking the United States' 250th anniversary in the gallery at the West Plains Civic Center. The show features 24 original works by nine Ozarks artists and one regional collective, spanning oil and acrylic painting, contemporary art, photography, metal sculpture, historical posters and traditional quilting. Featured artists include L.L. Broadfoot, Nancy Clayburn, Robb Cox, Jim Davis, Jane Hale, Donna K. Lay, Diane Pence, Sally Robinson, Mark Quentin Wallen, Delores Mercer Winkler and the Calico Cabin Sew-ciety. The exhibit runs through July 17.
