Timothy Schaffert Artist Reception

Best-selling novelist and artist Timothy Schaffert visits Norfolk on Saturday, June 20, with an artist's reception from 1 to 2 p.m. at the Norfolk Arts Center. A professor of English at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, Schaffert creates artwork from candy wrappers and has accumulated more than 800 pieces, a selection of which is on display at the Arts Center. Earlier that day he presents a book talk from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at the Norfolk Public Library.
