Unsung Artists Opening Reception

Unsung Artists, organized by SUNY New Paltz student Izzy Kerr in collaboration with Unframed Artists Gallery owner Michele Riddell, opens Friday, May 1 at the Huguenot Street gallery in New Paltz. The show is a tribute to local students and younger artists who often struggle to find places to display their work, and features painting, printmaking, photography, ceramics and metal sculpture by artists including Sydney Pignalosa. The opening includes live music, vendors and a potluck, and the gallery will remain open the following Saturday and Sunday from 1 to 5 p.m.
