Wonder in the Woods: Artist Reception

Wonder in the Woods is a multimedia group exhibition by Headwaters Arts members at the Headwaters Arts Gallery in the Alton Mill Arts Centre, running from July 1 to August 3. The show brings together wood turners Lucy and Lawrence Kristan, who create organic vessels and delicate nesting birds from local woods; painter Marnie Cooke, whose abstract canvases draw on her background in dance through their use of color and movement; and wildlife photographer William Mitchell, a recent graduate of the Niagara College Photography program. An artist reception runs from 1 to 4 p.m. on July 5 in the Headwaters Arts Gallery, where visitors can meet the artists.
