Alia Ahmad: In Time, A Bloom

In Time, A Bloom is Alia Ahmad's first solo exhibition in Hong Kong, at White Cube. The paintings examine the emotional, cultural and historical complexity of the artist's homeland through the desert landscapes around Riyadh, layering oil paint and ink washes into introspective scenes in which the desert becomes a witness to civilizations across time.
