Liquid Memory: A Collaboration with Water

Works by Walla Walla University alumna and Yakima-based artist Margot Stroop explore the delicate balance between natural systems, biological fragility and social commentary. Working primarily on paper, she combines traditional and experimental printmaking, marbling, paper cutting and installation techniques to evoke the dynamic behavior of elemental forces — especially water. Unified in concept and form, the pieces invite viewers into a visual dialogue with water and its transformative presence, memory and movement.
