Little Memories

Little Memories is a solo exhibition by Zoee Xiao in the Julia C. Butridge Gallery at the Dougherty Arts Center in Austin, Texas. The collection of works is inspired by childhood memories shared between the artist and her children, rendered through a whimsical interpretation of childhood that celebrates simplicity and everyday wonder. Xiao's paintings invite viewers to slow down, rediscover childlike curiosity, and notice the subtle joys woven into ordinary life. The exhibition is on display July 6 through August 15, 2026, with an artist reception on Wednesday, July 8 from 7 to 9 p.m. and an artist talk on Wednesday, August 12 from 7 to 9 p.m.
