MC Noyes: Water Way

Canal Street Art Gallery presents a solo show by Bellows Falls, Vermont painter MC Noyes, on view June 19 through August 9, 2026. The exhibition continues the artist's series "Water Way," a daily observation of the Bellows Falls Canal rendered in watercolor. Noyes makes his own paints, grinding more than fifty colors from multiple powdered pigments bound with a honey and gum arabic solution, and works with only a handful of carefully chosen colors in each spontaneous-seeming composition.
