Nic Nicosia: Everyday Surreal

Nic Nicosia: Everyday Surreal surveys the last 25 years of the Dallas-born artist's five-decade career at the Nasher Sculpture Center, with a fresh focus on his turn to sculpture in the 2010s. The exhibition gathers more than 70 three-dimensional works, drawings, photographs and films made since his mid-career survey in 1999-2000. Known first as a photographer who staged uncanny suburban tableaux, Nicosia has become one of Dallas's most revered living artists. The installation is conceived to evoke the subtly surreal environments of his work, and is on view through August 16, 2026.
