Roy Lichtenstein in the Studio

Roy Lichtenstein in the Studio gathers prints, drawings and sculptures by the groundbreaking American Pop artist at the Nasher Sculpture Center, presented in collaboration with the neighboring Dallas Museum of Art. The exhibition draws on a joint acquisition of more than fifty works gifted by the Roy Lichtenstein Foundation in 2024, with a focus on Lichtenstein's experimental, often overlooked approach to sculpture. Shared across the two institutions in the Dallas Arts District, the presentation looks past Lichtenstein's signature Ben-Day-dot paintings to the three-dimensional side of his practice. It is on view at the Nasher through October 24, 2026.
