The Ways of Seeing

The Ways of Seeing is a group exhibition presented by the Sampson Arts Council at the Victor R. Small House in Clinton, North Carolina, featuring work by art teacher and local artist Josiah King alongside more than 14 current and former students of Sampson Community College. The show brings King's own work together with student pieces, many made outside of the classes he taught, in a rare pairing of teacher and students under one roof. It was supported through an Artist Support Grant provided by the North Carolina Arts Council and the Arts Council of Fayetteville and Cumberland County. The exhibition opened with an artist reception and is on view at the Victor R. Small House through July 9, 2026.
