Transforming Trash Artist Reception - Selené Huff

Exhibition of sculptures created by Canadian artist Selené Huff, Olmsted County's first artist in residence for the Transforming Trash program. Huff creates sculptures from scrap metal and materials reclaimed from the Kalmar landfill and county recycling facilities. Her work features industrial materials converted into pieces that curl and twist, emulating natural, organic shapes, including rebar bent into feet, hollow metal tubes, and reused tire belts.
