2026 Holiday Card Competition
Pine Tree Society invites Maine artists and photographers to submit holiday-themed artwork for their 90th anniversary card fundraiser. Deadline: May 29, 2026.
Pine Tree Society is celebrating its 90th anniversary by inviting Maine artists and photographers to submit artwork for its 2026 Holiday Card Competition. This marks the first year photographers are invited to participate in this long-standing tradition. Since 1969, Pine Tree Society holiday cards have been an annual Maine tradition, with thousands of supporters purchasing unique cards featuring original works by local talent. All proceeds from card sales directly support programs that help Maine children and adults with disabilities lead active, socially connected lives. Pine Tree Society will select four winning entries to be featured on the 2026 holiday card collection across different categories. The competition welcomes both established and emerging artists, as well as amateur and professional photographers. Submissions must feature Maine-themed holiday imagery that captures the spirit of the state. This is a meaningful opportunity for artists to contribute to a vital fundraiser while gaining recognition for their work. The organization provides clear submission guidelines and criteria to ensure fair evaluation of all entries. Winners will have their artwork reproduced on holiday cards distributed to thousands of supporters throughout Maine.
