The Music In Africa Conference for Collaborations, Exchange and Showcases (ACCES) invites African musicians based on the continent to apply for an opportunity to showcase at ACCES 2026 in Johannesburg, South Africa, from November 12-14, 2026. One of Africa's largest music trade events, ACCES was created by the Music In Africa Foundation in 2017 as a platform to foster the development of the African music industry. Selected performers will showcase their talent to a diverse audience including festival curators, promoters, booking agents, record labels, and international music professionals. The event includes a two-day conference, showcase festival, exhibitions, policy seminars, industry awards, masterclasses, songwriting camps, and workshops. Selected acts receive modest honorarium, accommodation for two nights, per diem, visa reimbursement, local transport, professional video recording, full access to all ACCES activities, promotion across Music In Africa platforms, and potential performing opportunities within the Music In Africa festival network of 50+ festivals worldwide. ACCES has grown significantly since 2017, attracting over 2,300 delegates at the 2025 edition in Tshwane.
