Citrus Heights Arts, a nonprofit organization, spearheaded the Art at City Hall exhibition program at Citrus Heights City Hall. The initiative provides local artists with an opportunity to display their work in a prominent public venue. The first Art at City Hall exhibit ran from October 2025 through February 2026, featuring works by local artists including Ukrainian refugee artist Veronika Buliuk. Calls for artists are issued periodically, with the first call going out in June and a second call in September. Artwork is selected by a panel consisting of Citrus Heights Arts board members and two Citrus Heights City Council members. This is a meaningful opportunity for artists to share their talent and stories with the community while gaining exposure in a city government setting. The exhibition provides visibility for emerging and established artists in the Citrus Heights area and serves as a platform for artistic expression and community engagement. Artists interested in participating should monitor announcements from Citrus Heights Arts for future calls for submissions.
