Andes~Sena Residency 2026-2027 in Paris

Chile's Ministry of Cultures, the Arts and Heritage, together with the French Institute and the Cite internationale des arts, have opened the 2026-2027 call for the Andes~Sena residency program. The residency takes place in Paris at the Cite internationale des arts and is open to artists and curators who reside in Chile. Applications are accepted until July 8, 2026.

Now in its fourth consecutive edition, Andes~Sena strengthens cultural exchange between Chile and France by supporting the international mobility of artists and arts professionals. This edition invites applicants to design a research and creation project around the theme the art that connects us: everyday artistic practices and ways of living together. The program encourages reflection on how art can inhabit daily life, nurture forms of coexistence, and build links between different contexts of life and experience, particularly between Chile and France.

Two applicants will be selected to undertake a three-month residency at the Cite internationale des arts. Founded in 1965, the Cite hosts more than 300 artists at a time from all backgrounds, generations and disciplines, including visual arts, music, film, design, architecture, performing arts and exhibition curating, making it one of the largest residency centers in the world.

The program is part of the ministry's work to promote creative ecosystems, support international development and expand professional networks. The full terms and application information are published on the ministry's website.
