BAF Studio Mentoring Residency 2026, Cyprus
Cyprus's Beauty Line Art Foundation offers emerging artists studio space, mentorship and financial support in Nicosia. Apply by July 21, 2026.
The Beauty Line Art Foundation (BAF) has announced its second open call for the Residency: Studio Mentoring Program 2026, an initiative that supports emerging artists in Cyprus with studio space, mentorship from experienced professionals and opportunities to develop and promote their work. Returning after a successful first edition, the program runs September 21 to December 11, 2026 at BAF's premises in Nicosia and concludes with a group exhibition open to the public.
The residency is open to emerging artists from Cyprus and the diaspora working across contemporary disciplines, including painting, sculpture, photography, video, installation, performance and hybrid forms of artistic expression. Participants work under the guidance of mentors and jury members Maria Loizidou, Maria Stathi, Elpida Frangeskidou and Andreas Stylianou, and take part in open studios, workshops and talks designed to encourage creative exchange.
Selected artists receive a fully equipped studio, financial support for the development of their work and visibility through BAF's communication channels. Selected works produced during the residency become part of the Foundation's permanent collection, contributing to a growing archive of contemporary Cypriot art.
BAF is a non-profit contemporary art organisation based in Nicosia, established to support artistic creation and foster dialogue, research and experimentation through residencies, exhibitions, educational programmes and open calls. Application guidelines and the application form are available on the BAF website. The deadline for applications is July 21, 2026.
