Ink & Impressions: Call for Tattoo-Inspired Art, Ohio
ArtsaRound in Circleville, Ohio seeks up to three ink-inspired works per artist for Ink & Impressions, a gallery show alongside the Stained Pumpkin Tattoo.
ArtsaRound, the arts council for Pickaway County, Ohio, has issued a call for artists for its upcoming gallery exhibition Ink & Impressions at the ArtsaRound Gallery, 135 W. Main Street in Circleville. The show explores the intersection of tattoo culture and traditional fine art, inviting tattoo artists and creatives to share work that exists beyond the skin.
The gallery is seeking submissions that draw inspiration from tattoo aesthetics, history and culture. While the exhibition is framed around tattoo artists, it is open to all creatives working in any medium, including painting, graphic design, photography and mixed media. The curators want work that translates the bold lines and vibrant color of tattoo culture to the gallery walls.
Submission guidelines:
- Up to three pieces per artist
- All mediums welcome
- Work must be framed or otherwise ready for immediate display
Key dates:
- Drop-off weekends: June 12 through June 27, 2026
- Exhibition: July 9 through August 1, 2026
- Opening gala: Thursday, July 9, 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the ArtsaRound Gallery
The show serves as a curated prelude to the Stained Pumpkin Tattoo Convention, which takes place July 31 through August 1 at the Pickaway County Agriculture and Event Center. Participating artists benefit from exposure both in the gallery and to the convention's dedicated tattoo audience.
