St. Cloud Downtown Art Crawl 2026 Call
The Downtown Alliance seeks local and regional artists who can engage the public through live demos and interactive projects for St. Cloud's Art Crawl.
Organizers are putting out a call for artists for this summer's Downtown Art Crawl in St. Cloud, Minnesota. The Downtown Alliance and the Downtown Art Crawl Committee are looking for local and regional artists who do more than just display finished work. They want creators who can engage the public through live demonstrations, interactive projects, and hands-on artistic experiences.
Artists of all mediums, from visual and craft to performance and literary, are welcome to apply. The event is built around active participation, so proposals should center on how the public can watch, take part in, or interact with the creative process rather than simply view completed pieces.
Applications are submitted online and must include a description of the proposed demonstration or interactive element, sample images of work, and the materials required. The deadline to apply is June 30. The Central Minnesota Arts Board has given a grant to support the event.
The Downtown Art Crawl takes place on Friday, August 14, from 4 to 8 pm at indoor and outdoor spaces along St. Germain Street. This is a good fit for artists interested in public engagement and community-based work, offering visibility in St. Cloud's downtown corridor and the chance to connect directly with audiences during a lively, well-attended summer event.
