BASQUE.MUSIC., a platform driven by the Basque Government, Etxepare Euskal Institutua and Musika Bulegoa, has opened a call for bands and solo musicians from Euskal Herria (the Basque Country) to take part in BIME Bilbao. BIME is one of the international music industry's main meeting points, a strategic space to give visibility to new projects, connect with professionals from around the world and create development opportunities beyond local borders.
Three proposals will be selected to perform a showcase within the BIME programming, which brings together key players from the international music sector in Bilbao from October 27 to 30, 2026. Through BASQUE.MUSIC., the initiative continues a sustained effort to promote Basque musical creation abroad and support the presence of Euskal Herria artists in major markets and professional gatherings.
The call is aimed at musicians and groups from the Basque Country who are ready to present their work to an international professional audience. Registration is handled through Etxepare Euskal Institutua and the BASQUE.MUSIC. platform. The deadline to apply is July 15, 2026.
Applicants should prepare their project materials and an electronic press kit, and ensure their registration is complete before the deadline. Selection offers a high-visibility showcase slot and direct access to international industry contacts at one of the sector's most important events.
