Caminando por las Americas: Clark County Art Call

Clark County Public Arts, in partnership with Clark County Commissioners Tick Segerblom and William McCurdy II, is seeking artist submissions for Caminando por las Americas (Walking Through the Americas). The exhibition celebrates the rich, diverse cultural tapestry of Latin America and opens to the community on Thursday, September 24, at the Clark County Government Center Rotunda Gallery, 500 South Grand Central Parkway in Las Vegas.

The exhibition features guest juror and curator Olmeca, a UNLV professor, Latino scholar, activist, and artist. Under his leadership, Caminando por las Americas will bring together local and international artistic expressions, bridging communities and honoring the diverse heritage of the Americas. The event will also feature participation from the Consulates of Mexico, Guatemala, and El Salvador in Las Vegas, each contributing artwork to the exhibition.

Organizers are calling on artists from all backgrounds to share their voices and enrich the county's cultural landscape. Artists interested in participating must submit their work online before the deadline on Wednesday, August 5, through the official Submittable portal.
